ENERGY is a video art entry for the Surry Hills Festival 2017 - Double Take. Projected on a building located at the corner of Devonshire Street and Buckingham Street in Surry Hills, Sydney.

Electricity is the main source of power for illuminating the street. In some inner suburbs, there may not be too many street lights around the area. The concept plays the energy like being stored in an animated battery block, and provides electricity to the wall to illuminate the area, series of neon and growling lights patterns and abstract forms appears on the wall to transform the wall to an entertaining show.

This experimental animation is William’s final work in his Media Arts (Honours) Research Project, aimed to explore how could the nightmare be portrayed in animated graphics.
